BEAMING, Inc. provides therapeutic horseback riding to individuals ages 4 through adult with diagnoses including, but not limited to, Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Develompental and Cognitive Delays, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Blindness, and other Neurological, Orthopedic, and Behavioral Diagnoses.  Services are provided to individuals in the Fox Cities and surrounding areas.

Through EEAT (Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies), BEAMING teaches these individuals riding and horse care skills.  Individuals accomplish goals such as improving strength, balance, posture, coordination, language, and cognition.  Improvements occur in a rider's ability to tolerate different sensations and develop self-confidence, behavioral, and social skills through new and healthy life experiences.  Most riding lessons are taught in groups of 2-4 individuals.  Each rider has volunteers walking along side and leading the horses if needed.  Lessons are taught by a PATH Certified Instructor.  Although goals accomplished are similar to traditional therapies, therapeutic riding is not considered a medical treatment, but rather a recreational activity that provides incredible therapeutic benefits.
